Set up iPhone arrival & departure
- Enroll the Pi and iPhone in Tailscale and use the private HTTPS address it gives you. This desktop address won’t work from your phone.
- In Shortcuts, create an Arrive automation for home set to Run Immediately. POST

An arrival is a report from the phone, not proof the person waving is carrying it. Monitoring is off after every restart and needs a fresh departure and arrival.

Check the door, then set its current position. Haven estimates changes from app presses after the travel allowance. Wall remotes, stops and safety reversals can make this wrong. This never confirms that the garage is secured.
Relay and door position
- Your DockerPi four-relay HAT uses Relay 1. Its NO contact connects to red terminal 1, and COM connects to white terminal 2 on your LiftMaster.
- Keep the existing opener wires attached. NC stays empty; black terminal 3 and the safety sensors stay untouched. Disconnect power before changing wiring.
- Tap the Home button, then tap again to confirm within four seconds. Keep the doorway clear and watch the door move.
- No door-position sensor is installed. The relay cannot report whether the door opened, stopped, reversed or closed.
For measured status, add a magnetic door contact. One contact can confirm fully closed versus not closed; contacts at both endpoints can distinguish fully open, fully closed and between positions. Without a sensor, any position shown is only an estimate from your last check and app presses.

About Blink access
Blink grants account-level tokens, which are stored on your Pi. Haven only uses camera discovery, live view and verification, but that doesn’t limit what the token could do at Blink. To revoke it at Blink too, use Blink’s account settings.
On your phone
Add Haven to your Home Screen
iPhone: open your Haven address in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Android: open it in Chrome and choose Install app or Add to Home screen from the menu.
